Join global manufacturer and Industrial IoT provider Itron along with industry analyst ISG for a discussion on the new Cloud-Centric WAN. As the pace of digital transformation continues to drive cloud adoption, many are approaching the tipping point where more applications are hosted in the cloud than on-premises. When the cloud becomes the center of data and application gravity, it’s no longer sufficient to simply extend a traditional WAN architecture to the cloud.
Hear how large enterprises with legacy IT infrastructures are evolving by abstracting the network from the confines of traditional hardware-bound architectures, and seamlessly integrating with the cloud’s inherent flexibility. The new Cloud-Centric WAN is unleashing unprecedented levels of agility, scalability, and efficiency by leveraging Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles to seamlessly integrate with cloud orchestration.
The strength of the Cloud-Centric WAN is its ability to align networking strategies with the core principles of cloud computing – on-demand resource allocation, rapid provisioning, and robust security. With dynamic traffic routing, real-time application optimization, and elastic bandwidth allocation, enterprises are empowered to respond swiftly to changing business needs.
