Quantea Proof of Concept: Accurately Assessing the Impact of Data Breaches to Minimize Compliance Fines and Penalties
As networks continue to increase in complexity, exposure and volume, companies are increasingly being scrutinized with recently established data privacy and security laws. In a data breach event it is challenging to provide an accurate assessment whether the number of consumers affected are thousands or millions. Without an accurate estimate the penalties are typically based on the higher number.
In this PoC we will explore how Quantea provide ways of minimizing that number through use of network forensics.
Michael Francisco (Co-Founder and CTO of Quantea): Michael currently serves as Quantea’s Chief Technology Officer. He has previously worked in data centers and networking in companies such as Facebook, Yelp and founded several companies relating to cloud computing and social media. He has more than two decades of experience in hands-on programming whether it is C, assembly
language or higher level languages such as python and Java. He has earned his degree in both computer science and electrical engineering and has earned his CISSP and CCNA certificates.
