Cisco Academy: Engineering Kafka for Secure Autonomous Operation
To build performant network orchestration, analytics, or operations tools, we need a high thruput, reliable, distributed event streaming platform. We use Apache Kafka for that purpose as it is an excellent tool for event processing. Unfortunately, Kafka is not built for true autonomous operations as critical operational / recovery steps still need manual intervention. This session will review our journey in reducing that exposure and in making Kafka secure and autonomous.
