Networking Roundtable – Networks as a Service: Strategies for Next-Generation Connectivity

This exclusive roundtable invites IT leaders to delve into the future of Network as a Service services. Discussions will focus on emerging technologies like LOS, 5G, broadband, etc. and the complexities of managing hybrid cloud environments. Leaders will exchange insights on simplifying network complexity through NaaS and other services plus techniques. The session guarantees confidentiality and encourages a frank and open exchange of ideas.


As Technical Director, Aryo Kresnadi is responsible for setting network architecture strategies, futures and solutions for FedEx Global Enterprise Network supporting all FedEx information movement to ensure on-time delivery for all FedEx packages.

Current responsibility includes research and development of architecture, design and implementation of the next-generation network for FedEx data center, multi-cloud, and edge network for the FedEx field locations to support next-generation sensors, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.

Aryo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Ohio State University and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from University of Pittsburgh. Aryo is currently based in Collierville, TN, the home of FedEx World Technology Center.

Brian is a Network and Cloud Architect at McKesson, one of the oldest and largest healthcare companies in the US and currently operating in 16 countries. He is responsible for linking the needs of their businesses with infrastructure technology so they may serve their customers. This includes architecting and designing networks for McKesson’s global backbone, regional WAN’s, distribution centers, offices, clinics, and pharmacies, in addition to our private and public cloud environments. Areas of recent focus include SD-WAN, multi-cloud public cloud enablement, security for McKesson’s Operational Technology environments, and planning and implementation of our global network organization.

Junhong Liu is the Network Automation Architect at Citi, where he oversees the architecture, technology, and innovation of emerging technologies. His key areas of interest include network automation, network segmentation, policy-as-code, and integrating AI into network systems.

Before joining Citi, Junhong held various technology and leadership roles at Ericsson, Nokia, and Cisco, including positions in development, architecture, and open source package owner.

Junhong holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.

Sal is a systems architect for the Merck digital manufacturing organization. He is bringing his 25 years of enterprise in network architecture, and engineering and is now delivering innovative enterprise solutions into the OT space. Over the past several decades he has driven many large-scale global projects including SSL VPN, virtualized data center fabrics, campus architecture, SDWAN, NFV, and intent-based automation. He has also been part of the ONUG Community for over seven years and is currently an active member of the Hyperautomation and Network Cloud Working Groups.
