Speakers:

Christopher Moretti has been an executive leader with Evernorth Health Services (formerly Cigna) since October, 2015 and is currently responsible for all infrastructure engineering Leading the Global Engineering & Infrastructure Services.  In this role, Chris provides executive leadership over the teams that deliver Cigna’s voice & data networks, security engineering, contact center, database, compute, storage, information management, mainframe, cloud & devops.

Previous to Cigna, Chris spent 14 years at General Electric and its subsidiaries in various executive leadership roles supporting its insurance, consumer and commercial banking businesses.  While at GE, Chris attended and graduated many of their prestigious management training classes including AIMC and EIMP.  Most recently, Christopher was Managing Director of Global Networks for J.P. Morgan Chase & Company based in midtown Manhattan.

Chris started his career in IT performing many different hands on technical roles in client/server, network and security for various sized firms in the greater New York market including a period where he consulted for Greenwich Technology Partners.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and currently resides in Shelton, CT with his wife and 3 sons.

Guruprasad Ramamoorthy is the, Global Head of Network Architecture, Engineering & Operations and Site Lead for S&P Global India. He has been with the company since 2017 and is a hands-on technology executive with a unique blend of Product Development, Digital Infrastructure, End User Computing and Cybersecurity experience. Mr. Guruprasad is responsible for plan-build-run  functions of our global network that spans across 80+ global offices, 20+ Data Centers and 4+ multi-cloud environments. He also leads various enterprise wide initiatives to rapidly transform our infrastructure to software-defined, re-imagine the edge and strengthen the cybersecurity.

In the last two years, Mr. Guruprasad was responsible for building S&P Global’s Technology center of excellence in India from ground-up while attracting the best talent in the region. The site in India (Hyderabad) accommodates more than 1000+ associates and is purpose-built to facilitate innovation by providing employees with access to latest technologies and infrastructure, as well as physical spaces that enable highly collaborative teams.

Mr. Guruprasad represents the company’s commitment to develop talent to deliver new insights, accelerate the speed of operations and value delivery for our customers while establishing S&P Global as the most innovative company. To achieve this, he works closely with the global leaders to enable S&P Global’s product and systems with the help of 1000 + technology associates.

Mr. Guruprasad has about 18 years of experience. He was previously associated with companies such as Visa, BNY Mellon and Sify Technologies. He completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University and holds a Bachelor’s in Technology from Anna University.

 

Jon Pruskowski is the Product Owner and Engineering Lead of Capital One’s Core Network with responsibilities for cloud connectivity, data center interconnect backbone, and software defined networking.  He has over 15 years of experience in technology leadership, solution architecture, and network engineering.

Apurv Bhartia, a leader in wireless engineering at Meter, boasts over 10+ years of experience in the Wi-Fi industry. With previous experience at Cisco Meraki, Apurv’s tenure at Cisco Meraki saw him establish the Meraki Health wireless engineering team, driving innovation in intelligent wireless monitoring and analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UT Austin, with a dissertation on improving spectrum efficiency in wireless networks, and has numerous patents and publications to his name.

Jordan is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the networking hardware/software and data center space, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Solutions, Networking & Security at Megaport. Throughout his career at industry leaders like Equinix, Ciena, and BT, he’s held various engineering, sales engineering, and leadership roles, developing expertise in Carrier Ethernet, SDN, orchestration, and cloud technologies. During his time at Ciena, Jordan and his team executed a number of large scale NFV & orchestration deployments focused on enabling enterprises and carriers to leverage the scalability and velocity that NFV provides. Jordan’s strong foundation in network engineering stemmed from his early career. He began as an IP/MPLS WAN network engineer for British Telecom before transitioning to a sales engineering role, managing accounts across the US and Western Europe. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University.
