AI is accelerating the path from vulnerability disclosure to exploitation, while enterprises still need time to test and deploy permanent fixes. How can leaders reduce exposure without disrupting critical services? Tom Gillis explores how network infrastructure can help stabilize risk while remediation proceeds. The session examines how Cisco Live Protect mitigates vulnerability exposure while teams prepare permanent fixes, alongside security enforcement in the fabric with Cisco Smart Switches. It also connects post-quantum cryptography to infrastructure decisions made today: protecting sensitive communications and preserving trust in systems that must operate for years. Attendees will gain a framework for reducing exposure before patching is complete, governing temporary protections, and planning for quantum risks while keeping critical services available.
