Building Networks on Demand: A Practical Blueprint for AI – Lumen Triple-T
Supporting AI means connecting applications, data, and compute wherever they run. For network teams, the challenge is making those connections quickly while maintaining consistent security and control across clouds, data centers, and sites.
This session walks through a programmable approach to enterprise networking, bringing connectivity, routing, segmentation, and visibility into a consistent operating model. Using the Lumen and Alkira approach as a practical example, we will examine how to provision connectivity, apply policy, and adapt traffic paths as requirements change. Attendees will learn what to standardize and automate to make network changes simpler and more repeatable.
Misbah is a VP of Technical Product Management at Lumen. He has more than 15 years of experience of system engineering & networking with a passion in building and managing service provider scale networks and solutions. During his career, he has worked in different technical roles across engineering, sales, technical marketing and product management. Prior to joining Alkira, he was a Sr. Manager for Technical Marketing in the Enterprise Business unit at Cisco where he provided technical leadership to Tier I service providers and helped them create managed services using Viptela SD-WAN solutions. Misbah holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications from University of Colorado at Boulder.
