ONUG Training Powered by Aviatrix – ACE Associate Cloud Networking

Spring 2023

The Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE)  Program offers the industry’s first multi-cloud networking education and certification that enables students to develop advanced networking security, and operational competencies in the public cloud.

This foundational ACE training, offered free of charge ($895 USD value) to ONUG Spring attendees, covers the basic networking components and terminology of the major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI) and discusses common challenges and key limitations when utilizing public cloud infrastructure.

The training details proven design patterns for cloud architecture and key networking and security use cases – including egress filtering, VPN, transit networking, firewall security, encryption, and more.

In 2 hours, you’ll learn how to:

  • Develop an architecture for your cloud network
  • Extend native cloud networking constructs
  • Integrate your preferred next-generation firewall vendor into your network architecture
  • Enable profile-based access to cloud applications and resources
  • Use transit networking services to integrate cloud VPCs/VNets and on-premises resources
  • Implement high performance encryption for data-in-motion
  • Gain visibility, global monitoring, and efficiently troubleshoot your cloud network

Who should attend?

  • Network Architects
  • Network Engineers
  • Cloud Architects
  • Cloud Engineers
  • Operations Teams
  • DevOps Teams

Prerequisites:

  • Basic knowledge of networking and security concepts is helpful but not required
