Speakers:

Steve Wood is a Distinguished Engineer and Product Architect providing strategic direction for SD-WAN, Cloud, Network-as-a-Service and Enterprise Networking products in Cisco’s Enterprise Network Group. A 20-year veteran of Cisco, his expertise spans ASIC design,  Routing, 3G/4G and Wifi Mobility as well as Cloud and Enterprise Architecture. He is a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies worldwide deploying networks to solve business problems, through deep knowledge of platform technology and network design. He is chair of the ONUG Network Cloud working group.

Ricky partners with AT&T’s largest Fortune 1000 enterprise clients, playing the role of trusted advisor by
assisting them with business, technology & market transitions. Ricky provides strategic direction and practical guidance across business and technology landscapes. His experience covers the full spectrum: From development of vision and strategy, to tactical implementation and service assurance.

In his current role, Ricky leads a diverse team of Sales Engineers & Principal Solution Architects responsible for consulting with sales teams, clients & partners to provide technical expertise in the design, customization, and implementation of the most complex technical products and services. Ricky also plays the role of Group CTO as he builds direct relationships with client C-Suite leaders to establish AT&T as a trusted advisor & strategic business partner.

Ricky is focused on positioning AT&T’s evolving suite of Programmable Network API based solutions as well as the latest in Fiber & 5G services to enhance partner/client platforms and drive Go-to-Market partnerships with select AT&T partners. He provides innovative, enterprise-wide solutions across multiple technology domains that align with client business objectives. Ricky provides Integrated Sales leadership & GTM Technical Business Development leadership for the evolving capabilities of the entire suite of AT&T Fiber, 5G, Cybersecurity & IOT portfolio of services.

With his strong engineering background and acute business acumen; Ricky has been able to bridge the gap between IT requirements, objectives and business needs. Ricky is equally comfortable leading conversations with technical IT groups, business leaders as well as executive stakeholders. Ricky has been in the Telecommunications Industry for more than 16 years in various engineering, people leadership, and enterprise sales roles. He has been recognized for his achievements by receiving the AT&T Diamond Club Award (for Top Sales Production) twice and AT&T Service Excellence Award (for Outstanding Customer Service) 3 times. Ricky holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Network Engineering from Ryerson University (Canada) & Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Windsor (Canada). He also holds several industry certifications including the coveted
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation. Outside of work, Ricky competes globally in the sport of Dragon Boat racing & currently resides in San
Francisco, CA with his wife, Carmen.

Luc Boivin is Director of Solutions Architecture for Verizon Business Group. He leads a team of
technology architects with deep expertise in software-defined networks, secure cloud networks,
cybersecurity, collaboration technologies and contact centers. Luc and his team consult broadly with key
Enterprise clients to help define their infrastructure strategies and transformation roadmaps. Luc has
been deeply involved in several outsourcing projects with Verizon customers.

Luc spent his career at the forefront of technology. He started in research at M. I. T. and Bell Labs. He
held product development and management leadership positions with a successful start-up and at Ciena.
He has been consulting with large Enterprise clients at Verizon since 2006. He holds several U.S.
patents and maintains active professional certifications including CISSP, TOGAF and ITIL.
