Separate Teams, Same Target: Defending the Network in Zero Time – Network to Code Triple-T

Fall 2026

Uniting NetOps & SecOps to close the change window vulnerability

For years, NetOps and SecOps worked separate tracks. That no longer holds. The network is now the front door for attackers and the outer shield every security control depends on. Firewalls, VPN gateways, and routers sit on both teams’ turf.

With AI on the attack side, exploitation now starts, on average, a week before the patch exists. Fixing a known-exploited vulnerability takes a median 43 days: a ticket, a change board, a change window. Manual handoffs that work at 500 devices break at 5,000.

We call this Zero Time. Security can flag the risk, but only the network can close it. You can’t secure what you can’t change.
