Matt Meabon has spent time in multiple areas of technology in his career. He began his career
in sales at CDW before moving into an engineering role focusing on Netapp and VMware. While
at CDW he worked with customers in NYC helping them move physical workloads to virtual
systems. Matt then moved to Northern California to assist larger strategic customers’ journey to
cloud-based workloads. After working at technology partner Kovarus focusing on RedHat and
Dev/Ops solutions Matt moved back to Rochester NY in 2018. He joined Palo Alto Networks
helping their technology partners get up to speed on security implementation best practices. In
2020 Matt stepped in to lead the US Channel Engineering team helping train Palo Alto Networks
technology partners on products and solutions. He then led the Northeast Commercial
Engineering team working with customers in NYC and New England. Most recently Matt leads
the Strategic Northeast Solution Consultants focusing on all areas of the Palo Alto Networks
platform.
He currently lives in Rochester, NY with his wife of 20 years and 5 kids. He is a passionate
sports fan and of course, suffers through the annual Buffalo Bills football season.
Jordan is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the networking hardware/software and data center space, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Solutions, Networking & Security at Megaport. Throughout his career at industry leaders like Equinix, Ciena, and BT, he’s held various engineering, sales engineering, and leadership roles, developing expertise in Carrier Ethernet, SDN, orchestration, and cloud technologies. During his time at Ciena, Jordan and his team executed a number of large scale NFV & orchestration deployments focused on enabling enterprises and carriers to leverage the scalability and velocity that NFV provides. Jordan’s strong foundation in network engineering stemmed from his early career. He began as an IP/MPLS WAN network engineer for British Telecom before transitioning to a sales engineering role, managing accounts across the US and Western Europe. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University.
Dan Baxter is a seasoned out-of-band (OOB) professional with more than 20 years of experience in network resilience and management. As Director of Sales Engineering for the Americas at Opengear, he leads the U.S. Sales Engineers and Solution Architects teams. Dan’s extensive career includes senior roles at Cyclades, Avocent and Emerson Network Power. At Opengear, his focus is on helping hyper-scale and enterprise customers find practical applications for OOB solutions, ensuring network resilience, reducing complexity, and delivering tailored advice for NetOps, DevOps, and SD-WAN environments. His commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction makes him a trusted advisor in the rapidly evolving field of network engineering.
Justin Jeffery has spent the last ten years working as a NetDevOps Engineer at two of the largest US
telecom providers and one of the largest financial providers in the world. He holds a CCNA, CCNA
Security and is well versed in Python. He enjoys solving problems in a programmatic fashion to
promote Network Automation. Outside of his career Justin has also been an adjunct faculty member
teaching students about computer science and networking.
Having been with IP Fabric since October 2021, Justin uses his vast experience and knowledge of
Automated Network Assurance in his role as Customer Success Solutions Architect to educate and
support prospective and current customers through customized product demonstrations aimed at
addressingtheir specific requirements.
