This directive prompted our InfoSec team to rapidly understand the variety and usage of GenAI Applications, so they could be used safely without losing efficiency. Throughout this process, we improved monitoring of employee AI utilization, implemented new InfoSec policies, facilitated negotiations for enterprise GenAI contracts, and developed specialized tools for secure access to AI applications.
