Automating Your Network with Ansible Automation Platform and Nautobot: A Device Lifecycle Example

Fall 2025

In this session, learn how Network to Code and Red Hat partnered to help a major energy company streamline device lifecycle management using Nautobot and Event-Driven Ansible. By integrating Nautobot as the Network Source of Truth with an Azure Service Bus and Event-Driven Ansible, the team automated device onboarding and decommissioning across tools like Clearpass, Cisco ISE, and Kentik. What once required multiple ServiceNow tickets and manual coordination is now fully automated and kept in sync across the full device lifecycle. Attendees will see how event-driven automation with Nautobot and Ansible Automation Platform eliminates silos, reduces errors, and drives operational efficiency at scale.
