Sarwar has 12 years’ experience in developing decarbonisation strategies, products
and propositions spanning across the telecoms, IT, and energy industries, working
for both large corporates and start-ups. As the Sustainability Director for Business at
BT, he is responsible for supporting our customers all over the world accelerate their
ESG goals by 1) embedding sustainability into our portfolio to reduce our impact on
them and 2) developing new solutions and partnerships to help them reduce their
own carbon emissions. He has a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Technology,
is IEMA Carbon Management certified, and holds an Executive MBA from Cranfield
University
