NATALYA PAVCHINSKAYA Visionary Transformation Leader with a track record of transforming
organizations to accelerate and drive business outcomes in Fortune 100 life sciences companies and
telecommunications firms. Skilled at creating permanent world-class technology organizations that
enable R&D, commercial business units, supply chain, finance, and cybersecurity for competitive
success.
The depth and breadth of Natalya’s experience is reflected in multiple executive roles in technology.
Currently, Natalya is an Associate VP of Foundational Platforms in the Office of the CTO at Merck &
Co. She is responsible for enabling Merck’s capabilities in intelligent automation, generative AI,
digital platforms and agile methodologies in software development processes to drive value
realization across the enterprise. Her work directly contributes to the enterprise’ strategic priorities
of investing in digital technologies for future successes simplifying the way we work across the globe.
Her organization spans across international operations and is well recognized by many business
partners across commercial, clinical trails and manufacturing functions.
Previously, at Abbott Laboratories, Natalya held number of leadership positions over 22 years , she
led the Finance Transformation Program; established and implemented Regional Cybersecurity
Program for high-risk countries; was in charge the eCommerce and Digital Experience group and was
responsible for leading Abbott’s first global finance transformation program that encompassed the
company’s legal separation into two new $20 billion companies (Abbott and AbbVie). Natalya began
her career at Abbott in IT Audit and then transitioned to management roles in information
technology spanning business systems management, SOX, and global supply chain. Among her
accomplishments was establishing the SOX PMO. Earlier, she gained experience in audit and tax with
Motorola, Grant Thornton, and Arthur Anderson.
Natalya has an MBA from Northwestern/Kellogg, a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois,
and is a CPA. Natalya is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
