Jeff Reed is Vice President for Cisco’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions Group. In this role, he is responsible for evolving the business strategy and driving innovative solutions for customers, across the data center and campus and branch routing, switching and wireless architectures. Reed also oversees the vision, engineering and go-to-market activities for SDN applications and infrastructure.
Formerly Reed led the product management and software development teams. Prior to this role, Reed served as VP and GM for Cisco’s Unified Access Group, Cisco’s largest switching business unit. Reed joined Cisco from Symantec Corporation, where he held senior positions in product development and alliances and business development. Reed led product management for the Storage Foundation business unit, ran Strategic Alliances and Business Development for Symantec’s Enterprise Product Group and was general manager for Symantec’s Clustered Storage product line.
Reed holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (with distinction) and an M.B.A, both from Stanford University.
