Brian is a communications architect and consultant. He provides independent consulting services to industries including telecommunications and cable in the areas of service and network management, operations, business process and workflow management, information and data modeling, OSS/BSS interface definitions, standards and specification development, and back-office automation. Brian joined Datavision in May of 2014 as a Senior Consultant. In addition to Datavision, he is the lead OSS/BSS architect for the Metro Ethernet Forum. He held a prior position at CableLabs for Business and Operational Support Systems. In this role, he was leading the development of network management and operational interface specifications, information models and data models for the Cable Industry. In this capacity he was also leading the Management Market Focus Group within the Metro Ethernet Forum and served as one of the Technical Editors. Brian also has participated in the TeleManagement Forum in representing and advancing cable technology initiatives. He led the architecture and development of Network and Element Management Systems for a small telecom equipment provider in Boulder CO as well as held various software engineering roles within Motorola. Brian received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
