Ananda Rajagopal is currently Vice President of Product Line Management at Gigamon, where he is responsible for all aspects of Gigamon’s product strategy including the definition, positioning, promotion and lifecycle management of Gigamon’s entire product portfolio. Prior to Gigamon, Ananda was with Brocade (previously Foundry Networks), where he was most recently VP Product Management & Strategy, leading their Service Provider and Data Center Routing business. At Brocade/Foundry, he spearheaded initiatives in network visibility, 100Gb and the industry’s first commercial SDN/OpenFlow solution. Before Foundry Networks, Ananda was with Ascend Communications, subsequently acquired by Lucent Technologies, where he led Software, Quality and Pre-Sales Engineering teams, and was responsible for the industry’s first IP-DSLAM product together with early deployments of IPTV. He started his career with Wipro in Bangalore, one of the world’s largest IT outsourcing/staffing consultancies, where he consulted for clients such as Cisco, Sun Microsystems and AT&T. Ananda holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mysore, India, a Master of Engineering degree from IIT, Kanpur, India and received his MBA in Technology Management from Santa Clara University.
