Anaf Durrani has been with Cigna since 2013 and is currently responsible for leading the DevOps and Productivity Engineering Center of Enablement and the Software-Defined Everything (SDx) initiative for Global Infrastructure Services. In this role, Anaf drives DevOps architecture, engineering, and enablement working across 500 scrum teams. As the SDx lead, Anaf is bringing a software engineering mindset to infrastructure to enable Cigna to support a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Anaf started his career at Motorola in the Push-to-Talk (PPT) division as an engineer. He was part of a team that expanded PTT globally. Prior to Cigna, Anaf spent 6 years at Orbitz.com and its online retail travel brands leading Product Development and Quality Engineering organizations transitioning his teams to practice continuous delivery. Anaf has worked in the business and IT with a primary focus on enhancing customer experience. His experience with start-ups and enterprise development provides a unique experience to enable transitions.
Anaf has earned a master’s in software engineering from Southern Methodist University, a bachelor’s in computer science from DePaul University and currently resides in Schaumburg, IL with his wife, 3 sons and 2 daughters.
