The wide area networking market is fundamentally transitioning away from traditional service providers delivering bandwidth, toward leveraging the massive investment cloud providers have made in their network infrastructure. Cloud providers are providing Network as a Service or NaaS services that deliver raw transport, programmability plus a new “pay for what you use” pricing model. NaaS provides control and configuration tools that deliver elastic bandwidth to burst into the cloud at a tenth of traditional legacy networking cost. On top of this is a set of infrastructure as code tools to automate and program network capacity. Networking is finally catching up to cloud compute and storage. In this session, you will learn how to cloudify your network infrastructure.
