Scott Hankins has spent 20 years developing mission-critical and high performance network technology. Prior to founding Pertino, he was a senior engineer and architect at Packeteer (acquired by Blue Coat) where he lead the advanced technology and deep packet inspection teams. Previously, he developed real-time, distributed simulation platforms for the Space Shuttle program while an engineer at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Hankins holds several patents on advanced packet inspection, handling, and analysis, and has a BSCE from University of Texas at Arlington and MSEE from Stanford University.
