Within the Riverbed CTO office, Kevin supports cross-product initiatives, strategy and standardization for advanced networking topics, engaging with Riverbed customers on aligning their strategic requirements with Riverbed strategic plans. Kevin is active in the ONF, IETF and ETSI NFV. Within Riverbed SteelHead engineering, Kevin drives requirements and technical direction for feature development on the SteelHead product in the areas of cloud, network integration, and hybrid networking. Prior to Riverbed, Kevin was CTO & co-founder of Shenick Network Systems, which provides voice, video and data test solutions. During his 25 years in industry, Kevin has worked on systems and solutions development across a wide variety of networking technologies for both service provider and enterprise networks. Kevin holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Limerick.
