John O’Hara is a technology entrepreneur, angel investor, and venture partner. He is currently a director at Adaptive Financial Technology and Taskize – the latter he co-founded and sold to Euroclear. Prior board positions include Finbourne and INETCO. Prior to his career in fintech, John held executive roles at Bank of America, BP, NatWest and JPMorgan Chase where he was also a Distinguished Engineer. John is the inventor of AMQP which is incorporated in cloud products from Amazon, Microsoft, and Red Hat.
