Dr. Bradley McCredie is the Senior Vice President of the Data Center GPU and Accelerated Processing Business Unit at AMD, where he spearheads the growth and success of the Instinct Product Line. The Instinct series accelerators from AMD are uniquely designed to power the most demanding AI and HPC workloads.
Bradley established and developed this Business Unit from the ground up, leading it through the successful launch of four generations of industry-leading data center solutions. Under his leadership, his team architected the world’s fastest supercomputer which is also the world’s first exascale supercomputer, Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s ‘Frontier,’ a title it has held for two years.
Before joining AMD, Bradley had a 27 year career at IBM, where he ultimately served as the head of Development for Power Systems. He is also Founder of the OpenPOWER Foundation and Open CAPI foundation at IBM.
