Aditya Akella is an Associate Professor of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Aditya’s research interests span software defined networking, big data systems, cloud computing, data center networking, and network management. He is a lead principal investigator for CloudLab, an open testbed for foundational cloud computing research. Aditya is a recipient of the IRTF Applied Networking Research Prize (2015), the SIGCOMM Rising Star Award (2014), NSF CAREER award (2008), and several best paper awards. He received his B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras in 2000, and PhD in Computer Science from CMU in 2005.
