At ONUG, Aviz Networks and World Wide Technology (WWT) will present the 2025 SONiC PlugFest readout, where over 50 customers collaborated to validate SONiC across data center, edge, and AI networking environments. The event provided a vendor-neutral platform for users and hardware vendors to test real-world deployment use cases, proving SONiC’s readiness for large-scale, AI-driven infrastructures. The session will conclude with insights into how enterprises are achieving up to 40% TCO savings through open networking.

I love to solve data center networking challenges. The last five years has changed my focus significantly to Cisco ACI and VMware NSX. In many cases this includes a discussion of how to integrate the two solutions together.
My second passion is Motorsports. Over the course of the last 30 years I have been heavily involved working with F1, Indycar, IMSA, many other sanctioning bodies and their events.
