Overview:
As an ONUG Sales Account Executive, you will be a key catalyst for accelerating sales growth within the vendor and consumer communities for our AI Networking Summits. Success for this role looks like identifying and growing a base of clients through prospecting, referrals, lead follow-up through consultative selling, and maintaining outstanding customer service practices.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully & creatively prospect for new accounts, identifying key decision makers and key influencers.
- Connect with prospects over the phone, video conferencing, and through well-written email & social media communications
- Qualify and educate prospects on the sponsorships that best fit their needs
- Create, execute, and manage a high-activity prospecting plan
- Meet and exceed activity and revenue targets
- Build credibility through an in-depth understanding of a client’s business.
- Maintain full fluency of ONUG’s sponsorships and how they are best positioned to deliver value in the marketplace
- Accurately set client expectations to ensure an outstanding experience
- Forecast and track sales revenues and activities in a timely manner using the CRM system and other tools.
- Effectively collaborate with peers in and outside of the organization
- Act as a customer advocate throughout the entire sales and delivery process.
Qualifications
- A college degree (preferred but not required)
- 5+ years of professional work experience in event sales with a proven track record of consistent growth and success in new customer acquisition
- Highly driven, focused, and committed with experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and sales-focused culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at working with CRM and other sales tools, and the ability to quickly learn new platforms
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Media sales experience (preferred but not required)
