The Agentic AI Infrastructure Project is exploring the ramifications of AI agent workloads across the full stack of IT application infrastructure
Widespread adoption of Agentic AI will require rethinking the design and operation of the full stack of IT application infrastructure to accommodate AI agent workloads, which will impose stringent demands on GPU and compute resources, storage capacity and network performance. Technical challenges include developing and training the underlying AI models, and gaining access to the required data, which may reside in different operational silos.
AI infrastructure operations teams will require new tools, technologies and techniques for deploying, managing, monitoring and securing AI agents. Responsible AI is a critical concern to ensure that AI agents act fairly, are transparent, accountable and adhere to corporate governance policies and privacy regulations.
